What makes Wild-craft your best source for natural skin care?  Hypervigilently sourced ingredients. We will never settle for less than the purest, cleanest, and greenest ingredients we can possibly find for our products.

Laboratory data sheets for our ingredients can be found in the Documentation section in this website.

Glacial milk clay  The clay collected from Ice Age lakebed Lake Missoula is composed of minerals finely pulverized by glaciers, the remnants of which still remain in Glacier National Park. Layer upon layer of fine, milky, silt deposits evolved over thousands of years to form a unique clay containing generous amounts of silica, necessary to build skin’s elasticity and resilience. The crystalline silica in glacial milk clay suspends in water for weeks because of its colloidal, almost nanoparticle form.  When it comes down from the mountains in the spring, it makes the rivers reflect a stunning turquoise green. Glacial milk clay contains trace amounts of sulfur, also needed to build elastin. The mica-based silica brightens skin, is an agent for detoxification, and soothes inflammation.

Geothermal salt – Geothermal salt is hand-harvested from sun-evaporated hot springs water by the Salt River on the Yellowstone Plateau. Sustainably harvested, this is one of the purest natural salts available. The high concentration of magnesium in geothermal hot springs salt improves skin hydration, reduces inflammation, and can relieve allergic reactions by cleansing and detoxifying. We stone-grind geothermal salt to the optimal consistency for a salt scrub.

Sundance Sea salt and clay- The Sundance Sea was a body of water on the western slope of the Rockies during the Jurassic Period when dinosaurs roamed the Great Basin. A deposit of salt from this ancient sea was capped by volcanic clay, protecting it from pollutants in the now-urbanized Wasatch Range. The salt is rich in minerals–more than 60–and is the salt used in our Mountain Magic facial and body wrap spa boxes. The clay corresponding with this salt is available as a favor bag.

Hot springs H2O –  Hot springs mineral water contains generous amounts of silica and some sulfur, both necessary to build the skin’s elastin. Unlike tap water, mineral water matches the skin’s optimal pH of 5.2.

Wild flax  (Camelina sativa)  Wild flax oil contains more than twice as many omega-3 fatty acids as omega-6s, making it a perfectly balanced oil for human nutrition, superior to hemp or jojoba. We believe what is good for your body to digest is equally good for your skin to absorb.  Wild flax oil has high levels of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant to help fight aging, and it acts as a natural sunscreen. Wild flax is the primary ingredient in E-Creme. “Always all-natural vitamin E.”

Sunflower oil (Helianthus astericae). Sunflower oil is rich in antioxidants and has also been shown in clinical studies to build ceramides in your skin. Sunflower oil contains all the omega fatty acids–3-, 6-, and 9–and these vital nutrients easily absorb into skin.

Wild rose hydrosol  (Rosa woodsii) The sugars found in rose petals add to our rose hydrofoil’s soothing effect, and its natural oils trap moisture in the skin, helping it feel and look smoother. The antioxidant properties of rose water help to strengthen cells along with regenerating tissues, thus helping revitalize aging skin.

Wildflower honey – The Wild Rose Facial spa box includes a wildflower honey mask to follow the glacial milk clay mask.  Rich in antioxidants, raw honey moisturizes and soothes. It has an antibacterial action on skin blemishes.  Wildflower beeswax from the same bee hives is used in our lotion. The honey and beeswax is sustainably sourced from the Flathead and Bitterroot river valleys of Montana.
